Britt Gundersen Malmedal

Britt has a B. Sc. in Planning of Society, from Volda University College, University of Bergen and University of Tromsø.  She is specialized in management, organisation, communication, and administration.

Britt has a professional competence in a variety of fields such as planning, governance and public administration. She has had various leading administrative positions in public affairs since 1986 both in Tysfjord and Tromsø communities.

In Tysfjord she was deputy chief officer, and in several periods chief officer. During her time in Tromsø (1994-2007) she participated in several projects developing systems and routines related to the organization. The last years in Tromsø community, Britt worked as Staff leader and Deputy Chief of water and drain supply. Her main responsibilities were HSE, human resources, administration infrastructure, staff and organisation, planning and analysis.
